Reflections

Experience

Throughout the whole process, I had a very difficult but valuable opinion of your company. I have done similar branding creation 2.3 times in the past, but I think this one took the most time and the most amount of things to create. The website was especially difficult. I had created a website in the previous semester, but it was too simple, so this time I had to be a little more creative. I didn't know much about websites, so I looked for reference images, found commonalities, and used them as references. The promotional video was also a lot of work because I am not very good at making videos, so I had to switch scenes to match the bgm and incorporate graphic elements into the video. Time management was also a challenge, as there were many touchpoints to be created. There was a time during the process when I was just making what I wanted to make, and I was a little distracted from the purpose of the brand. I need to keep in mind what you want to offer and what the campaign is about and work accordingly.

Observation

It was a very hard semester, so I tried to design it as if I were actually in the customer's shoes. People seek healing when times are tough, and I tried to create a branding design that would make them want to go there when times are tough. Each brand has its own target audience, but this was the first time I had designed for people who were tired of their daily lives, so things didn't go well at first, but I think I got the hang of it a bit in the latter half of the project.

Findings

I think my time management skills have improved. My mind gets confused easily, so I created my own schedule and calendar to meet deadlines. I have always been fast at doing some work, but the results are a bit messy, which I think is a bad part of me. I want to be able to use all the time I have to create high quality work, since most tasks for designers are short, long, or have a set deadline.
