Based on the feedback from Ms. Lilian, I changed the continuous illustration design. The new one is simpler and unrealistic. The left one is a new design. The right one is the previous one. The left one is much well with our art direction.

Then apply them to each packaging. There are small mascots around the oat illustration.

Reflection

This was the first time for me to work in a group with such a wide variety of students from different specializations. It was a bit of a daunting task since there was only one graphic designer. I had a little trouble designing the logo, which is key to the brand, but I was happy to create something that I felt satisfied with. The package also had to compile a variety of information. We created several layouts and went through a trial and error-process to see which one would look best. It was a good experience for me to learn how the ice cream cups are actually reflected through mock-ups. But during the mock-up, it was difficult to come up with a color. i adjusted the colors so that they would not be too dark or too bright. It was interesting to see the creation process of the other students who went ahead of us. After actually creating these items, I became more aware of ice cream packages and similarly shaped yogurt packages when I went to the supermarket. I hope to make use of my experience here in the future.
